Development Environment

Below is an image of about 1/2 of my home development system. With it I have spent thousands of hours developing distributed internet/intranet based applications.  My home systems are usually synchronized with my current project to allow me to spend evenings developing without having to be at an office.

This system has been configured for Oracle 8.1.7, IBM WebSphere 4.0, Linux, Solaris for Intel, BlueMartini, Informix, IBM DB2 UDB 7.2, WebLogic, JRun, ColdFusion 3.5, and many others. It is currently configured with Oracle 10g Database, OracleAS 10g, and Oracle 10g Grid Control. I am currently employed by TUSC - "The Oracle Experts".

I have been programming since 1984 and consider it to be not only my profession but my passion. I love to solve problems by designing reliable well built systems. When I am engaged in an active project it is the first thought of the day and last of the night. I currently hold many certifications, including Sun Certified Java 2 Programmer and IBM Specialist. You can view my all of my certifications online. My primary focus is J2EE technologies and system architectures that support it. I spent my early years in the United States Navy's submarine force aboard the USS Stonewall Jackson (SSBN 634) repairing and maintaining the radar and navigational computer systems.
